Traditional Chinese Medicine

Traditional Chinese medicine

There are three main branches that make up Traditional Chinese Medicine or TCM:

  1. Acupuncture
  2. Herbal Medicine
  3. Tai Chi & Qigong

All three are based on the premise that if energy (Qi) flows freely though the body, you will have good health. If the energy gets hung-up or blocked, it will stagnate and cause imbalances. This will eventually lead to physical problems. All three branches can be used together or separately to restore and balance energy flow.

The channels in which energy flows are called meridians.
